The first thing we did was inspired by a pin. A very simple cute groundhog craft.
And this is what my kids came up with:
Then we did a word search, which my 4 year old is just starting to learn how to do.
And finished with a reading understanding story about the history of the day, with Q&A. Matthew actually comprehends the stories we read pretty well. He did need some help with this one.
And as far as the prediction, 6 more weeks of this winter isn't all that bad, we have barely seen any snow!
(One of our only snows this winter, the beginning of January)
