2015 Erin Condren Life Planner Setup

I am a planner lover, and will the be the first to admit this book may or may not be the key to me keeping it all together.  Today I am sharing a walkthrough of how I use my life planner.  My goal this year is to use the same book throughout the entire year.

I love being able to change out my planner cover, above is my current cover: Turquoise Platinum Edition.

The Meal plan insert (which I bought separately) has been so handy for making trips to the grocery store.  You have your meal plan on one side, and your list on the other.

On the inside of the book I have attached many things with coil clips to add a bit of my own touch to the planner.  My dashboard (shown above) is one of my additions.  A place for all my sticky notes for quick scheduling.

I love maximizing my pages by adding cute stickers and page flags.  While I do like to decorate I prefer to keep it functional.  To see weekly layouts be sure to find my planner inspired Instagram account and follow along @livelaughplan

I am sure to utilize each and every notes page in the back.  I use them for lists that will not change, and things I like to refer to frequently.

To see the entire walk through of my planner be sure to watch the video below!

Monday Meal Plan and Grocery Haul

My meal plan has changed about 12 times in the past 2 days....  Life has been a bit hectic with my husband traveling and travel plans changing.  When times like this happen, I try to rearrange rather than completely change it up and have to go purchase more items.  Here is what we are eating this week!

Monday - Pot Roast w/ Potatoes ( The kids have off school, and it is supposed to be cold, rainy, and snowy)  I use my own recipe, loosely based off the Pioneer Woman's recipe

Tuesday - Beef Sliders / Mac and Cheese / Corn

Wednesday -  Ham / Tator Tots / Broccoli

Thursday - Fish / Rice / Green Beans

Friday - Grilled Chicken / Side Salad

Saturday - Stromboli / Pasta

Sunday - SUPERBOWL Day!  Although this year, we are rather disappointed in the outcome and the teams remaining, it is still a great excuse for yummy food!  My menu isn't completely set, but it will probably include wings, snacks, and sweets!

To see what I got at the store this week, watch below!  I am still of the quest to change up how/ where I shop, but this week my brain couldn't handle any more stress, so I stuck to what I know and love... my dear Target!

Doing It All.....Online

I have recently realized that it's impossible.  The process behind putting out a quality Blog Post or YT  Video takes time.  Something that this busy SAHM just can't seem to have enough of.  I have never been a "good" writer, I actually kinda suck at it.  If I would have known YouTube was going to be a thing back in 2007 when my very first blog was born, I most likely would have taken that route from the get go.  I just like talking in person so much better, I feel comfortable in front of my camera compared to behind my keys.

That being said, my blog has been like a 4th baby, back to when there really were no babies at all.  It was a way for me to connect with any sort of world outside our small, crappy apartment footsteps outside of the big city (my how things have changed.... it would take A LOT of footsteps to make it into the city now).  At that time it was me, my husband, and my new world of other pregnant mama's due on/or around August of 2007.  It isn't something I want to just give up on.

So, I need a game plan.... surprise, surprise... Samantha needs to make a plan!  We're gonna start small, with little to few expectations.  But this blog will live on.  My main focus has shifted, because making YT videos, and my journey on that platform has been INCREDIBLE, but I shall not close up shop on here.

A schedule may be implemented, back to the things I loved to post (i.e. Meal Plans, Recipes, Organizational tips), or it may be more sporadic.  I am going to take some time to figure out what is best.  Adding more to my plate means less sleep, and boy do I love to sleep... as I type this at 12:17am, go figure!

So if you haven't already head over to Happily A Housewife on YT because it is pretty happening over there if I do say so myself.... also leave a comment on this post letting me know a bit more about you!
