Easy Smoothie Recipe

I am sharing the easiest recipe ever today.  I have a lot going on (in my head) and really can't handle anything difficult right now.  I don't want to really get into because it is a post in itself, but the issue is the fact that my sons birthday is in mid-August, and the question of sending him to Kindergarten or holding him back and doing another year of preschool is upon us. I am so confused about what to do, and have flip flopped each and every way.  But more on that another day when I have a plan (hopefully soon)

Anyway....This is about my Lillian who will not eat fruit.  She HATES it, and always has.  But I have found a way to get it in her....SMOOTHIES!  Both my kids love them and will drink them with any kind of fruit.  So here is how I make them.

Ingredients

1.Frozen Fruit (sometimes I throw in a fresh Banana if I have one on hand)
2. Milk
3. Plain or Vanilla Yogurt.

Really no directions are needed.  I blend the fruit, yogurt and milk in the blender.....that's all folks!
My kids LOVE them.  Like I said I do so many variations of this.  Mixed Berry, Strawberry, Peach, Mango, Banana. or Blueberry.
Enjoy!!

    1. It is annoying having to clean the blender every time we make them. I hate that part!

  2. My son hates veggies, I wonder if I can find some veggies that would taste fruity and delicious in a smoothie. I'll be making a smoothie this afternoon, yum!

For veggies! My sister slips them into her spaghetti sauce. Worth a try!

My son will only eat oranges, mandarin, from a can...OI. I'm going to try this on him!

  4. Forget the smoothie-the cups are super cute!!

Tip for cleaning your blender: rinse. Add hot water and tiny drop of dish soap. BLEND (with lid on) . Rinse again and you're good to go!

    1. That is an AMAZING tip! Thanks. The cups are Target, but probably a good 2 years ago. I love them and wish I had gotten more.
